On December 10, 2016 Kazan Innovative University named after V.G. Timiryasov hosted an event dedicated to the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948 in the framework of the Action Day. Students of 1161 group together with a teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies also an activist of the NHSM campaign - Diana Fazlitdinova held a session at which issues related to the human rights were discussed. During the discussion students got acquainted with the term "hate speech", as well as with the principle of universality of human rights. It is important to note the fact that the conversation about the victims of violence and hate speech and the impact of these left nobody indifferent - all the students expressed their thoughts about the possible consequences of hate speech and their personal opinion about the importance of human rights and education in this topic.
